Weight loss- Does weightloss really matter?

 

Its very seldom we hear the words ” Thank God, I gained weight.” Society has brainwashed us about weight and what it really means. As personal trainers, fitness coaches, we have a ethical obligation to educate the public what “weight” really means. Here at Own Your Fitness- personal training, Jersey city and Tribeca, we from day one coach our clients on what weight really means. Fat, muscle, water, skin, bones..etc…the ironic part is the more lean muscle you put on the tighter, smaller you look, and the more weight you lose. Of course the weight you lose is fat not muscle as the priority is to gain muscle. And to gain muscle we put our clients on a transformation path and our secret weapon is education.

Due to the lack of education we are so lost when it comes to health and fitness. However, one life at a time, one group at a time we aim to change that!
